We are a diverse and multi-generational ELCA Lutheran Church situated in the heart of Ray, ND.
Our church is a loving and inviting community dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus.

Ray Lutheran Church is one of two ELCA Lutheran churches included in United Community Parish.
Our "sister" church within United Community Parish is Epping Lutheran Church, located in Epping, ND.

At Ray Lutheran Church, we're dedicated to serving our congregation and wider community.
Through vibrant programs, we nurture spiritual growth in our youth and provide engaging activities for all ages.
Our WELCA women's group and quilters extend their reach to help both near and far, while our Bible study sessions deepen understanding and connection.
Partnering with other community entities, our food pantry ensures that no one in our community goes hungry.
We foster togetherness through our community garden and showcase compassion through our quilting group, which creates quilts for charitable causes.
The Men's Lutefisk Dinner is a cherished tradition that not only delights palates and offers a cultural experience but also raises crucial funds for our youth programs.

Pastor Mary
Meet our Pastor
Pastor Mary Dickman Parris has served the congregations of Ray and Epping Lutheran Churches since January of 2020.
She graduated from the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary of Lenoir-Rhyne with her husband, Joshua Parris, in 2018. She loves playing with her son, Isaiah, swimming in the Missouri river, and hiking at Theodore Roosevelt National Park with her husband.
In addition to Isaiah, Pastor Mary and her husband are parents to two cats-Sherlock and Watson. She is originally from Montana and loves living on the prairie of North Dakota!
Pastor Mary believes that we are called to love God and love one another as Jesus commanded! We are empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit to share God's love through our words and actions in our daily lives!
